Sage Moon Originals was born when Susan Richards (artist, graphic designer and new mom) moved to Loveland in 2004 and spent a year desperately trying not to get a 9 to 5 job. An innocent inquiry into a boring and inexpensive office space made the idea of a gallery seem almost possible. A call to her mother to dissuade her from such foolishness failed and she soon found herself running a classified ad looking for artists and artisans to show in a very specific type of gallery. Not knowing a soul, she figured the ad would bring out every amateur and hobbyist in town - ha! Fantastically talented artists by the dozen came to show their work and sell in an unproven venue. Many of those brave and beloved souls are still part of the Sage Moon family today.

We opened on June 4, 2005 to overwhelming response and will celebrate our fourth anniversary this summer. The community of art lovers and artists alike have helped make Sage Moon one of the most popular galleries in town. It was voted Best Art Gallery in the Reporter-Herald's 2007 Readers' Choice and second favorite in 2009.

Not only do we provide the public with eclectic and quality artwork, but we encourage the arts in Loveland and beyond, by offering workshops, events and a partnership with local schools and promising young artists. Please visit any time and you'll see what makes Sage Moon so special.
